finally bought another 5 after a few sad months without one but it is 244 miles away from me anybody know what sort of price im looking at to get it transported i cant drive it as the head is cracked.

Get some one to drive you to collect it armed with a gasket kit, fresh head and a selection of tools. Few hours later your driving home:) Your not going to lose anything as you will have to buy these parts anyway. On the other hand you may find it has a cracked liner then you can kick the guy in the nuts over the price

got it for pennys any way but thats not a bad idea. hmmmmmmmmmm anybody got a head for sale?

nope but i am thinking of bidding on it for spares why do you know about it then?

wouldent buy a red. white phase 2 all the way.

its in a place called musselburgh just outside edinburgh gettin it off my cousin.

cant get an a frame i have no towbar any more got rid of the 307. got quotes the cheapest is £158 for delivery.

this is drivable but over heats so i would be pullin over every 20 mins to let it cool down

hey robbie. im about 45 mins south of edinburgh. if you come down the a68 you are welcome to stop in at ma house to let it cool down.

iv got plenty tools and stuff, let me know if there is anyway i can help you out.:)

:agree: spot on if i feel it will be ok to drive i will pop in.

was thinking about getting the top option on the aa recovery phoning them when im there saying it broke down getting them to tow me home alot cheaper than transport and all inc in the price.

the best thing to do mate is get the aa i let all the coolent run out and called them and said the head gasket had gone took a good hour to come out when the did i said to the guy i wanted a tow up the road and he said no probs and got a flat bed to come out took a good few hours tho but got me from manchester back to glasgow and i only took out my membership the day before :laugh:

thats what i would of done its no good to me though the sills are rottted through, drivers seat might aswell just be the metal frame, os rear quarter seriousley rotting away wasted trip apart from getting to see me grandad. any body want a white phase 2 for parts? to much work to get back on the road.
