New poster! (less than 10 posts)

Has anybody bought the S/S tubular manifolds on Ebay from Germany?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Edelstahl-Turbokrummer-Facherkrummer-Renault-5-GT-Turbo-/320554040980?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Autoteile_Zubeh%C3%B6r&hash=item4aa2827e94

Any feedback on quality or faults found with them?

only problem i had with it was that with my vnt and 2.5" downpipe, the manifold hit the downpipe so i had to dent it to miss the manifold.

other than that ive had no problems with it

Have a little read of this

The primarys are of un-equal length and the angle where they enter the collector looks a bit dodgy. And I bet it works no better than an o.e on which can be had for less than £20.

You can also port out the OE ones where there are mior flow blockages for the studs, and match to a ported head.

I did with my last setup worked a treat, you can also do some work around the exit of cylinder one closest to the flange. I ruined two manifolds messing around with bits and pieces. When you start to see leaner afr's at the same boost you have got to be heading in the right direction.
