hazard switch problem

hi all,

on my 5gtt, hazards only work if I keep the switch pressed by hand, as soon as I let go it stops working.

I have two switches and they're both the same :confused:

can anyone shed some light on this

im sure it works on the same principle as the other dash switches,maybe a spring or some internal widget has come adrift,i have not ever took one apart,if it was me i would strip it down an see what you can find...after all it does not work so wont do any harm!

there's a metal pin inside the switch that was broke, replaced it with another from another switch and all is well now :agree:
