Never done it, but if i was having a go i would measure the gaps on the originals, mark the new skirts, drill small holes in the new marks and lock tight some small screws in their place, also making sure the clips are going to sit on the screws used.

Best i can come up with :)

You can buy the rivits to rehang the orginal clips back onto. Not cheap though.

I remember someone saying on the old site that you can get the same rivets from vauxhall for alot less money be handy if someone had the Vauxhall part numbers

use some u-pol glue/sealant or stixall or whatever it's called.

Seriously if i was welding new sills on i wouldn't want to go drilling holes for rivets that are just gonna rust again. If you reasonaby miserly with the sealant you should be able to get them off fairly easly again if needed. Make sure they are secure tho. ;)

ive done this and used tigerseal, but then i also cut the new sill panel to fit around the std rivits so the std clips could be used even tho there crap

i had an idea about cutting the section of sill out where the mounting rivets are the full length of the sill and spot welding them on then cut off where not needed

About £25 for the lot from Renault iirc. I did have the part numbers but have sold my 5 and the receipts went with it.
