what torque do you do the head bolt up to on these lumps? and is that wet or dry?

They should always be torqued up when properly lubed, I thought. Or you get false readings as the friction varies.
Unless you use an angle gauge and do it by ° and not by torque.
10.9 - 65nm
12.9 -90nm
or use the arp f4r stud set which will also fit f7p/f7r and should also fit the b18 head as they seem to share the same length head bolt as f7p/f7r--good for 130nm(for big boooost):cooter:

not looking at silly boost atm but il bear that in mind:laugh: il do it to 90nm then cheers chaps.

do the arp's u sujested fit.
ive bin putting off sending a bolt to arp for ages as i cant afford the 1 of price
would love to know if they are useable

speak to jp racing , he has just got hold of a set from a oversea's tuner who seems to supplie a lot of gear for the f7p /7r engines , i think he also mentioned billet cranks:eek:
but the kit he's got is deffo listed for f4r:)

tried an arp rep myself 7months ago ,total waste of time , had even given him an o.e bolt , no response:crap:
