Just a quick one to say well done to Glenn for setting a new PB today at a test-and-tune event at Santa Pod while setting the car up ahead of ESC round 3. I was there as pit crew (ha!) and to adjust the map when required. We didn't get as far as trying the amount of nitrous that we had planned because of unexpected rain, but still managed 11.56 @ 123mph and still tuned very much on the safe side. Consistent low 1.7sec 60' too proving that the new tyres and his chassis setup are working pretty well.

Hopefully a lot more to come from that engine, and hopefully proving once and for all that EFI isn't all that bad :D ;)

Vid here, against the (now very quick again) CPL civic, quickest FWD car in the UK. I think CPL set his PB trap speed this run, very impressive.

Doesn't that 60ft say 1.228?

That would make it the lowest on our 1/4 mile leader board by a long way.

And the 3rd fastest trap time.

Hi Ian

No, that is reaction time, but to be ignored anyway since neither were racing the tree that day. 60' on that run was 1.72, which is great. For comparision CPL ran 1.70 on that run.

It's pretty funny, glenn couldn't believe how much grip there was. Watch the vid and watch the front wheels during launch, looks to be bending the wishbones
