I'm well cuffed tonight, after getting rid of my BMW a few weeks back I was a bit gutted, but needs must and tonight I replaced my daily with a Iceberg 172 with only 43k and one previous owner. Its in great condition and has been garaged by the previous owner.

Should pic it up Saturday :D

Now who knows how to turbo one?

Good cars straight out of the box,

worst thing about the cars is that its mega expensive to get any power out of them and arent very tunable at all

A turbo conversion your looking between 6-£8000 which is a waste of time,

hope u have proof of a cambelt change, cos if that baby snaps your engine will be destroyed.

enjoy

Nice one, they are pretty quick anyway, we were down at croft last weekend and out of all the cars down there the 172 round the track was one that impressed me with its times.

I had a chat with the lad, he had fitted an exhaust, d-cat and a 182 manifold, running on coilovers, ceramic pads and slicks, all stripped out and he was 3 seconds faster than the evos on the day :)

I used to have one and they were fantastic on fuel from what i remember.

Get some pics up mate, might be a better option for national day :cooter:

8k no way sure it can be done for cheaper ,I love mine but it eats petrol ,and you have to drive it hard to get it's power out of it

it's about 6-8 for a turbo/supercharger conversion, that includes fitting and set up on rolling road

k-tec do a kit for ~£3k iirc, low boost diy fit but you could do it cheaper

Well, I gave it a clean this morning and besides the wheels which are curbed, I'm rather happy with the results.

Hi j8tro, clean example, have you herd of the jms conversion? All my mates keep goin on about it, they had a stand at French car show, I'm starting to realy love Clio sports, what's your plans with it? My mate sells alcantara a-pillars and glove box strips.. They tidy up the inside loads

NOT a throttle body conversion.

It is a custom airbox, using a modified Jenvey inlet manifold, with injector ports in. The airbox is long, with the original throttle body and air filter on the far right of the engine bay.

It is a good idea, will be good once they have sold a few to get some rep up for these

£1795 fitted + mapped
£1299 supplied only

that one?

Well its just been over a week, and after not having it 3 days due to the exhaust falling off I've added a few little bits to make it look better.

Next on the list is lowering :D
