lol ..so i in my ...i get MOT's for £27 ..so for a giggle i thought id MOT my clio gtt.

What a giggle!!

Im a driver/valeter for them ....was out a drive ..came back to people laughing at me etc.

It FAILED!! ..They deemed the car unsafe for the road....their reasons....

1.Due to the way you have mounted the engine it could damage the chassis.

LOL i mounted it to the subframe like a 5gtt engine is on a 5 ..i explained this and they shutup.

2. Fuel lines are catching driveshafts

Its really a breather pipe from the old clio fuel system that goes to the carbon canister (i cable tied it to the subframe to keep it out the way was meaning to get rid of said pipe at somepoint lol).

3. Fuel lines not mounted properly

Ok i can see their point i put the FPR to a side and cabletied it till i got a mount for it lol.

And thats it ..the mounts one made me laugh tbh :laugh:

So ill sort them and take it to my usual MOT place me thinks :smokin:

nah they refused to test it :laugh::laugh::laugh:

Sorted all the problems the tester listed and taking it to my regular MOT station ..they at least know the car :)

well it went to my usual mot station ..just got a fone call...


IT PASSED!!! :D :D ...all it needed was a bulb :smokin::smokin::smokin::smokin:
