View Full Version : Oil in boost pipes
Took my boost pipes off tonight and the telephone hose and found quite alot of oil in it so guessing the turbo is nackerd lucky enuff iv got a t25 to put on:D
If you've still got the breather pipe going to the telephone hose, and there's oil present in there & boost hoses, it could be a sign of worn rings...

comp test all 4 pots should be the same readings or near enough you can change rings with engine in place never done this myself been told its easy but you need to know what you are doing unlike me lol

If it is the case you can do the rings with the engine in.
It's head off, sump off and pull the pistons out.
If you still have the breather in the telephone hose it could be that, as Mart said :agree:

Isn't there too much oil in your engine?
