Has anyone managed to wire up a washer fluid level sensor from another 5 model into their 5 GTT ?. If so are the wires already in the loom or would I need to make something up. It's not really important but would be a nice to have if its not too much work. Cheers. :)

maybe use something like the brake fluid cap, not many cars have washer lvl warnings. not many have coolant low warnings lol. not really drastic if ya screen wash runs out.

Some of the gtt's had low washer level sensor in the bottle as standard mate, i think the wiring is already fitted in the loom.

you could retro fit a phase 1 bottle with sensor but is it worth it? just top it up when you run out.

I did afew years ago on a phase 2 GTT. From what i remember the wires are not in the loom on that model and i ended up running some wires to the clocks and then chopping up another loom plug to get the ends to go in the clock loom connector. It did work but to be fair got on my tits when the bottle got low and it starts to flicker the light at you . So that got unplugged :D
