After the weekend really enjoying it at the pod, have got the feel for it. Only managed a 15.2 at 91mph but loved it. that was a pretty standard setup at 12psi and regular unleaded, nothing striped from car, road tyres so not bad i thought.

My aim is a fast road car that id like to set some ok times up the strip, it would be good to see my name on the 1/4 mile board so looks like 13.7/13.8 is the target.

My currents setup is- Standard engine/box, and clutch as far as i know. With a enlarged downpipe and scorpion system, pipercross filter, pace standard size intercooler, alloy carb top, cup mod, boost goes to 1st bar from red on standard gauge and 0.8bar on boost gauge so am running 12psi.

Since being a member here i have listned to advise given and am happy with how my car is coming along, i have recently changed oil/filter and flushed out cooling system and bled, car doesnt have any over heating problems and runs at normal running temps

So where have i got to go from here, thanks

get your after maket boost gauge plumed into the the carb base ;)

there is so much you need to do and check to able more power, tuning boost up if not running correct spells danger.

so you need someone with a wideband or get your own.

avoid the innovate lc-1.
ive heard of a few faults with them now! and a few is more than enough for me personally not to buy.

Whereas their LM-1 is the lick.

After the issues im having with mine, and the lack of GGR's ability to answer emails/return calls, i'd still clear of both the LC-1 AND GGR.

I have had both and agree with Mart the LM-1 was spot on never failed:agree:, although my LC-1 & DB gauge worked fine the refresh was not as quick as the LM-1. Plus you can easily use the LM-1 in any other car with Lamda bung.
