anti perc fan not working??

hi,got my first gt turbo last week and the anti perc fan does not work but i got loads of receipts with the car and it had a brand new anti perc fan fitted last year.do you think it will be the sensor on the heat shield thats causing this or is there any other problems you get with it??thanks

Short the 2 connection together on the heat sheild, Fan should run. If not check to see if the 10 amp fuse ( If fitted from the recall ) is ok that lives in the loom next to the perc fan. The unit is powered directly off the alternator so check wires there also. :agree:

ok i will short it tomz to see if its working cheers.i have heard alot of people say get rid of it and others say keep it.i do find it hard sometimes to start the car when hot so think i will keep it and try get it running,also im trying to keep the car as original as poss so think i will keep it.thanks

Just out of curiosity, are the anti-perc fan and front foglight relays interchangable?
