boost pipe sensor??

hi,could anyone tell me what the sensor on the boost pipe that comes out the intercooler into the turbo,the one right next to the header tank???when its connected every now and then when i put my foot down the car hesitates for a second then goes??when its disconnected its never done it.anyone know why it does this??thanks

its the original overboost sensor, renaults way of stopping you blowing up your engine if you turn the boost up ;)

ok mate cheers,my r5 is running standard boost and the sensor was fitted last year,so i wonder why it makes it hesitate?not to worry il just leave it disconnected.thanks
