I get asked over and over again for prices on R888s so im setting up an account with a good supplier of these.

Before I sell any, are they remarkably **** in the wet?

Should i sell them as a track only tyre and off them as such?

Who uses these on the road out of us lot?

Can some one tell me what they paid for a set so i can price them up.

Thanks guys. :agree:

I use the GG compound on the 11.

Can't remember how much I paid and they're not any worse than any other tyre in the wet if you drive sensibly. But they're far superipor in dry conditions than any other road tyre that I ever used.

just my 2p.

Best price I could find for 32 x 195/50/15 (8 Sets of 4) was circa £78/tyre last month, which I still thought was expensive for the quantity TBH. Then they wanted daft delivery on top...

I remember when they could be had for around and under £50/tyre in that size, now most places sell them at double that. Id rather spend my cash on full slicks than pay the current 'retail' R888 prices, as IMO they are not worth that much...

If the price was good enough I would be interested though!

I got 2 x 195x50x15's r888 SG compound for £164 delivered which was the cheapest i could find them from http://www.tyretraders.com/

ordered them Monday morning and they arrived Tues afternoon which i thought was really good .

Just checked the website again and for some reason they dont list r888's anymore

only use them on the track, good though they do reach a point where the grip goes (very suddenly after a couple of laps) Yoky A048's are far better, and not that much more expensive now...

i think i got my at £208, i think logg paid 210.. camskills prices are rockbottom on these unless you suck someone off i can't see you getting them, posting and making alot.. you'd have to shift a few sets to make anything..

i was at a tyre garage and i never did any dealings, there wasn't much between my discount and internet prices.. my employer clearly made sure this was the case as i'd be knocking them out the door if there was £10 a tyre in it for me, but it was more like £2. :(
