Just wondering, when under the car the other day i noticed a engine mount sort of thing with a rubber cog on it that went into the front of the subframe i think.. it seemed to possibly be some kind of engine support, however it was not on my last r5?..

Yep, it's an engine stabiliser & should be in situ.

Yeah, about as close to a golf ball as you'd get on a 5gt fella lol, more like a 'bow' shaped bracket with a rubber cog on that fits into subframe socket at front ;)
