Been a few times to muck about on track and give a few passenger rides, always a busy day but a real mix of experience on track :crap:

Dunno Alastair, always used to go with the motoscope bunch. Enduring memories of rsoc days will be of Kev Proctor & Dave Bellerby both being black flagged for passing about 5 cars whilst going sidways in tandem out of claervaux and for a blow out on the jim clark esses in the noble.

Must get a car fixed!!!!!

We had a great day yesterday, my Dave's little fiesta was great. He has spent the last year just building it for track days. Xr2i, its been stripped, swiss cheesed everywhere, full race cage, buckets, coilovers, polly bushed, 2.0l with ported and polished head, custom manifold and down pipe, uprated cam and twin 40s with omex management.

Its not been dynoed but should be 170bhp ish.

He got round croft 3 seconds faster than other years in his escort cabbie, i was really surprised how well it goes, for a cheap, light little pocket rocket.

2nd run out i was in, we followed out a evo 9 gt, i thought thats the last we will see of that, oh no, 3 laps in and we were hunting him down, passed him and kept him at bay.

Well i had to go and say hello after being an old evo lad myself, turns out its about 430bhp. His times were not fantastic for a evo with that power though. oh and a load of excuses, typical EGO driver :)
