I saw a Renault 21 Turbo racing at Oulton Park at the weekend. Seemed like an original European Racer with orignal livery, maybe one of the cup cars. But had huge brakes on it, so could have been a touring car.... Doubt the cup cars had massive brakes on them....?

The europacup car ran AP racing calipers and 350mm vented discs. The rears used standard calipers and standard size plain discs.

Was the car you saw a pale blue/ drk blue car? May have been Bob Claxton,his car was one of the original europacup cars.

That shell is a phase 2, the europacup cars were phase 1 cars, so not sure what the story is with that shell.

ahhh right.
there was alot of blue on the car. Maybe some black.... :) Didnt get much time to look at it.

Very very nice though.
It was racing in a very mixed championship. Anything from space framed kit cars, to porsche cup cars, to mk2 escorts!
