hello everyone just wonted to no if any one has wired a 440 loom in the 5 mine is the 10 pin plug and if any one no.s wot belt to use for the alt and how to pipe up a t3 attuater thanks for all the posts you lads have dun made things much easyer my engine went in to day wont it running tho lol thankshttp://my r5 17

there's already a recent thread with the wiring listed.
there's a selection of alt belts that can be used, get it roughly in place and measure it then order with a local motor factors, length by how many ribs on the belt, 4-6. i run a short 4 rib belt, think from a c2??
pipe up t3 actuator same as std

thanks haz found the new post and got it sparking yesterday just got to get rid of the wires wot arnt needed m8 and then pipe it up ill mesure the ault belt with a bit of string and then get from shop thanks m8 much respect lol:agree:

good stuff. i'd leave removin the extra wires til after its runnin, just incase there's summit you've missed.

The belt im using is a gates 6pk 1098. Im running volvo power steering on that belt too. Not for much longer though ;)

thanks m8 i think i will leve the wires till last thanks for the heads up lol now im stuck on where to take the fule pipe off the fule rail return do i patch in to the old fuel return or make a new one
i have 4 meaters off staneless steel hose and an6 fittings to go on :agree::agree:
