what speeds are possible?

would you reccomend it?

im happy with my bt router but feel im throwing money away as i dont use my land line,
i pay £15 for broadband which is ok,but obviously i have line rental which is another £15 ish.
i know it's only £30 per month but if i can get mobile broadband for £15-£20 it's a nice saving over the year

All depends on network coverage in your area as to whether your going to get good speed. Let us know what area you are in or what provider you want to go with as that will be a factor. Also what do you use your broadband for? Browsing, gaming, downloading?
All this will make a big difference as to what your recomended

I had Vodaphone mobile broadband on in my tent at Santa Pod , kinda looked like my bedroom in there :D
