right i work for bt at the moment (well an agency for bt) and have been offered my old job back at o2 on a permanent contract the money is about the same as i would get at bt distance is about the same to travel. i was very happy when i worked for o2 a few years back. only left because my son was born and hours were crap. better hours than bt though,

so should i take the job at o2 or stay put and hope for a contract at bt? seriousley need some help here.

With kids, security is what you should be thinking about first. If happiness comes alongside that, then fair play :)

working for the agency is ok but no real security at least with o2 there is security no sales targets to meet. gut feeling is saying go back to o2. another problem with that is o2 is monthly pay and im on weekley pay so would need to cover fuel ect for a month and thats a bloody long time to be skint!

I worked for an agency for bt as a frames engineer, i was one of the lucky ones as i found a new job the week before they laid off the whole team. The other guys there had been doing there job for years but were just laid off with very little notice and were really hung out to dry. If i was you i would go back to O2, its a secure job that you like doing, doesnt sound like it gets a lot better than that to me.

cheers for the advice in a way i knew it would be o2 just wanted to see what people thought and everybody went the same way be silly not to so if anybody wants a mobile with a friends discount give me a shout in a couple weeks.
