right this heap of crap has tested my patience long enough now, i changed the fpr and thatscured the problem of the fuel going into my intercooler, but it still wont start, so iv just took timing cover off to line the marks up but the chain was loose well certainly shouldnt be that loose, im guessing my tensioners packed in, it was pushed as farback as it would go so i took it off and it just doesnt seen=m to lock in one place...?
anybody suffered from this before?

just gotta hop it hasnt trashed any valves

The tensioner is worked by oil pressure pushing it against the chain so doesn't actually stay in one place.

After i spoke to you on msn, did you swap the HT leads back after we thought the fault was incorrectly positioned ht leads?

yeah mate its doing my head in now its obviously something serious like nackad cam or headgasket timing is spot on lines on timing line up when its tdc, fpr is sound now but i still think it ould be over fuelling, drained oil out and it was still muxed with petrol and it was brand new oil 2 days old
