Hi chaps. Currently run the cup mod and my actuator pipe runs to the carb base. If I fit a under bonnet bleed valve will I have to put the actuator pipe to the carb top instead and block off the carb base hole???

Personally, I wouldnt bother with a bleed valve :disagree:

BUT...you can do what you've said :agree:

Also, to reduce the pipe work further...you can run a vac pipe from the compressor outlet to the actuator directly...then block the carb base nipple with a small bit of pipe :)

Suki I'm only fitting a underbonnet bleed valve to set the max boost limit for a in-car controller. Just wondered why the right side of the bleed valve is better connected on the lobster than on the carb base nipple???

I think the problem with a bleed valve is they are not entirely reliable and can lead to boost spikes....
