What does everyone think of the euro style rims, which are basically just steelys with another lip welded on, my mate has some for sale and i think they look  ass, but will they fit without needind mods, i only know that they are 14inch rim. Untill i get the exact dimensions.

Thanks Mat

The et is going to be the biggest problem.

Banded steelys? Do you no the width mate? I don't no for sure but I'd think 7.5s would probs be the max width you could use without hacking away at the arches, make sure the et is rite cos spacers will make them stick out more, the piggs don't like stretch or wheels that stick out further than the arch lol

my c2 had 9s on the back and the police use to question what was goin on all the time lol

Like I mentioned above, et is going to determine wether they'll fit more than width...

:agree: Matt, take adams advice, if the ET is high, they will probably foul on the shocks at the front, plus if there 8" most rims ran on 5's are 6.5" to 7"

Being 14's you might get away with it. what are they coming off?

There coming off a corsa B which is deked to the floor and they dont rub on there, Blonde moment but whats ET.

Thanks for everyones input.

The et is the offset of the wheel. Basically it's where the bolting face sits inside the rim.

Too far in (which means low et) may cause issues with fouling outer bodywork. I've got this on my Datsun as i'm using et12 wheels that are 9.5'' wide, even with 225 wide tyres stretched over them they struggle on the front with camber. I'm a little luckier on the rear but i've not lowered the car as much and i'm running more camber so they don't foul the arches. Looks good though.

Too far out (high et) and you could have clearance issues with suspension or inner bodywork.

If it's any consolation, lower = better:D
