Can I use a standard knock sensor??

A bit of a quicky really, does anyone know if I can use a standard phase 2 knock sensor with my adaptronic ecu. If I can, how do I wire it?:confused:

Cheers Andy - I know I don't have to run one, but as I have the sensor and the facility to run one, I thought why not. I have PM'd Scoff quite a bit about various aspects of the installation and don't want to bother him too much, unless absolutely necessary.

I might just save that til later until Scoff sets it up.

Anyway - onto my Ford Mondeo TPS and why it wont show on my ECU (not sure of Pin configuration)

I tried using a ford TPS once, was a right pain in the arse, in the end I didn't boher changing the throttle body and stuck with what I had so no need for it, I do have the pin numbers somewhere, I'll try and dig em out for ya.

What engine was it off? a zetec 1.8ltr or 2.0ltr?
