1.6 16 valve i think normally found in the saxo vts and 106 gti, but with a turbo charger and it must have a good gearbox and driveshaft setup

a peugeot engine in a renault doesnt sound right to me:scratch: whats so amazing about a turbo'd gti/vts engine? is the clio's 1.8/2.0 not adequate? and probably an easier mod to do.

Could have just been the Peuguot 405 lump, they're not spectacular engines.

Think adams right :agree:

As far as i know thats a 1.6 16v lump thats been boosted in the vid, some of the spaxo owners call them t16 when turbod. I very much doubt its a pukka 2.0 t16, rare as rocking horse poo & probably wont fit an ax far too big.

Great engine crap gearbox as std & to fit a better one is a royal carry on, ask Jessop he is halfway through it.

The 172/182 lump is a far better option for us renault owners:D

the saxo owners are of a deluded variety!

their latest craze is to stick VT? stickers over the vtr/vts badges on the door

dont get confused with the 405 t16 and 205 t16 engines tho, they are different engines

The Rover 220 Tomcat/620 Ti engine is also called the T16 :)

Never thought of that, probably is vts turbo. Must be pretty quick as faster than r6 motorbike.
