lookin to repaint my cossie intercooler after have the mods done to it,

have you gota use special heat proof paint or will any old rattle can do,

also have you gota sand and prime lke normal spary jobs and if so what about all the fins??

Rub it down with something fine 400-800 then degrease it, light coat of etch primer all over, wait for it to dry, then give it a little nib with some fine paper 800-1200. tack it off then on with the top coat, one dusty coat then two full coats letting each coat go tacky before putting on the next.

ok cool, so will normal halfords rattle cans do? duno how hot this things get??

i sprayed my charge cooler rad and cooling rad with normal satin black paint from the frauds

no prep

couple of coats

then hid them behind the bumpers as normal as the finish was pretty poor :laugh:

but least you cant see them anymore, much better than silver crap :cool:
