kinda, sometimes people have had the dizzy drive out meaning your cycle starts a 1/4 turn before or after mine..
pinched this pic out of the project threads, are your leads firing like this, 1342? if your carbs playing up start with that, the club shop sells that kit, just add the discount code and it'll be the cheap enough.. should be less than ebay:)

If you've had the drive out, it's very easy to get it back in the wrong way round.
Get you haynes manual out, it's in there.
First thing you need to do is get No 1 piston at TDC.
Take number 1 spark plug out and feel when No1 piston starts to rise, using a straw or something else quite soft.

Take number 1 spark plug out and feel when No1 piston starts to rise, using a straw or something else quite soft.
Pull out the straw and make sure that when the piston is rising that pressure builds up and then get that piston to the top of the bore.
Check with the manual and pop the drive back in as specified.
