could do with knowing this aswell.
or the whole size of it.

as i want to get the forge kit.

but id rather try to find the same size cooler. and get ally piping for it.

as i want it to fit in the bumper like the forge cooler.

:agree:

Forge is high quality product. All the best about it.

FMIC measures:
Overall Width:625mm
Core Width: cca 500mm
Height: 180mm
Depth: 80mm

Most similar size are universal intercoolers that have core size 550x180x65. If you want to fit it behind standard bumper i would go for 550x140x65 because it will fit without cutting anything and same surface will be under direct air flow.

so is the forge intercooler better then?
is there anyway i could get hold of the forge item without the pipe run? cheers m8

Of course Forge is better but only because of quality not the capacity. Best IC is one that suits your boost and turbo size. What are your plans with GTT? Boost? Turbo?

You will hardy find Forge IC without piping new or 2 hand. After all my suggestion is to go for whole kit if you are not professional welder. It is tricky to bend alloy pipes around alternator. If you want rather cheap option buy universal IC and 2x1 meter of powerflex silicone pipes available from Viper Performance size around 50mm.

was thinking of buying a universal one of ebay then having the pipe worked welded on to my lobster all in one piece then getting chromed up

You can make one-piece piping from turbo to IC but from IC to lobster I think it won't be such good idea...

i want to be able to run about 180bhp possibley. say 20psi and im going to be buying a t25.

i could just buy the same bends in the kit but alloy though couldnt i?
as i no it will look better with my red hose kit then having more silicone about.
i know what you mean though.
