Speado stopped working

Ive finally got my car running now and I havent got a clue how fast im going which isnt to bad as long as there arnt any coppers about lol

Can anyone give me some help. My speado used to work intermitantely if it stopped working a bang on the dashboard normally sorted it out but now it doesnt.

Is something I can check eg voltages or connections

any help would be appriciated

mine started to do this after flying through its mot last week. as tapping the dash cured it i took the clocks out cleand up the connections and connected back up. all is now well takes all of 10 mins. just be careful when taking the clocks out and dont pull the top cover hard
