As above:D

Is there a technique i'm missing:scratch: or is it a case of "careful" brute force:D

This is because they are sealed at the joints with some kind of sealant that i assume is factory standard!

I know where all the fixings are,and have removed the rivot and bolt by the doors etc, but i'm nervous at just pulling them out incase i warp the shape of the metal...

Any input greatly appreciated:agree:

are they not spot welded on aswell?. look for small dots along the top line of the wing, if you see them they will need drilling. i may be wrong though.

I'll have to check, because could very well be?

They just don't feel like they want to come off - i know that sounds bloody stupid but there is something there restricting them and yeah could very well be spot welds:agree:

bolts on the top, one in the door shut, a rivit at the bottom and front near the bumper and a fooking load of sealent..

i just pull them off with care, i've not seen anything else holding them down, just go slow and be careful:)

The passenger wing comes off easier so start with that side, drivers side has an extra support which has to be lifted up over before it comes, there is also sealent holding it to the wing, it's near enough online with the back of the light for a reference point

Use a shape knife to cut through the sealant as you lift the wing slightly from the back.

Bang on, just seam sealer or something, and the bolts like mentioned. Easy mate, get stuck in :)

thats exactly what i used to do, the sealant was a pain, it didnt want to let go of the wing:crap:
