ignition coil

Does anyone know if the 480 Turbo ignition coil is just a regular 12v coil?
I have got the engine loom and ecus but I haven't got the coil and can't find one for a 480 Turbo.
Would I be able to use just any coil or is there different types such as voltage or amperage differences.
Any info would be great as I want to try and get the conversion done for the pod.
or if anyone has one for sale let me know as I need one asap.

Any info would be much appreciated as this is the only part I need and I can see I causing me to miss the pod day. Any one who has got a b18ft is there any chance you would be able to take a pic of the coil so I can see what type it is.

should be able to use any coil bud

i know on mine we bought a new one from a motor factors round here like, and we got a universal one and it works fine

as long as its got screw on + & - your laughing

i can get a pic of it should you need too

Volvo wanted to stuff me for £117 so you've saved me £100.
I'm guessing its a cylindrical type so will get one Monday.
All being well i'll see you all at the pod.
A picture may still be useful if you ain't going out your way just so I can see how its wired as I think I may be missing the wiring.

I think it's a regulator or somerhink like that
