Windows XP Key Code

I have just formatted my IBM Thinkpad laptop that was running XP home edition (due to my brother downloading vast amounts of porn and slowing it down so thought give it a clean start) now the only disk I have is an XP Pro version but the key code on the underneath of the laptop won't work as it's for the home version.

Is there anyway of getting around this without having to buy a new key code?

I can't even find the original code for the XP Pro version, and it is not in use on any pc I have got (running vista).

Any ideas??

Or any 1 got a key code for XP Pro they could pm me;)

I'm afraid you need to phone up MS for this one bud, that is if your CD is genuine, do you have a proof of purchase anywhere to flash in MS's face? If the copy of windows was installed on a different machine you could quite easily retrieve the key. www.mininova.org ;)
