its soon going to be time for new tyres

i'll need 195/40/16 so leaves my choices fairly limited

i've got pirelli pzero nero's at the moment, which i didn't really rate until i borrowed some 15's for a few days fitted with yokohama s-drives and then realised that the pirellis are far superior

i'm just wandering what would be the best bet? i've found T1R's on ebay, and yoko's, not worried about life too much i'd rather have grip

i also had continentals on it when i got it, 3 months later and i needed 4x new tyres... the pirelli's have been on since and actually grip better

do i go for a cheaper toyo, or stick with £100 a corner pirellis?

any suggestions welcome

I always hear people saying T1rs are one of the best, they look mint on 16s with 195 40s, the tread looks fresh aswel! Think I'm guna order some 45 15s off eBay , are you going to frech car show mate?

Falken 452s.

saw these on ebay... you rate them? used to run ZE512's as they used to give good arch clearance when putting big wheels on small cars

Its all will run now. Love them. Goodyear Eagle f1s i like as well but they are double the money.

I still think the P-Zero Nero's are the best tyres I've ever had. They're good in the wet, dry and snow.
Never lost grip with them on.

Toyo have always come top of my list for performance. Not the cheapest, but the best that I have tried.

I like t1rs,for the money there great, I can ruin them without one tear.. They cover alot of what I want in a tyre, but they won't be fitted on the old dears Clio 182 again, total downgrade over the Michelin in all aspects but the price.

On the 5 they've been great but finding my f1 gsd3's better than the toyos at the mo and will be trying out the r888 replacement at some point.. The r888 in 13s were magic
