cooling system problem

Hi all
i went and picked my first 5 up.It had been sitting for about six months runs fine but when i put antifeeze in the header tank i ran the car for about 10mins and when opened the header tank back up there was all foam in there can anyone help

Do you mean foam? throthy?

I'd advise just to flush the cooling system, because it hasn't run for so long, all the deposits etc will have settled in the rad and system, this is probably the result of it all mixing back up.

Is it a brown colour?........that's rust..............nothing to worry about just flush it out, as your cooling wont be as efficient with all that crap in there. :agree:

no its not brown at all it looks clean like someone might of put washing up liquid in it
