Can anyone advise the cheapest place to get a decent set of 195 45 15's?

I remember someone on here being in the tyre business, they still about and can do me a deal?

I have sourced Yoko AS01's for just over £140 a set, just wondered if there was anything else for the price that was half decent?

tried the usual blackcircles / camskill but they are more expensive than Ebay.

The nets always best to buy, but get a good deal on fitting as many garages will tuck you up the difference for not buying from them.

I'd expect to pay no more than £20 for fitting and balancing. They are going on new rims so no taking old wheels off and disposing. You think that's about right?

That's it mate, sometimes ya can get a good deal with tyres then getting a garage to fit them just adds to the bill, they usualy charge about 21+

I got a pair of Toyo T1-R's off ebay for 92quid delivered and then got a mate to fit em, not bad considering a pair cost 120quid last time around

I would always go for toyo t1r's in the fitment 15 195 50's. Ok they are not 45's but for the price you can get them for From camskill :cool:

Owch, i hope you did not buy that new, its lost about 13k right? sorry its going, i would love a white one.

Im selling mine once the r5 is finished, use the 5 for a summer car then buy something for the winter.

What you going to replace it with?

Thankfully Phil, I saved over 7k buying it as an ex demo. A decision i'm glad of now.

Just going to buy a cheap run around for the next 6 to 12 months. Not gonna even look till the cars gone, needs to be something half decent a i can't rock up to client meetings in the 5.

I've taken the 5 to the office a few times and my boss threatened to shoot me.

Suppose he had a point, i left it on the car park and went into town for a morning meeting, the whole time i was away the alarm went off and its one of the annoying clifford ones :wasntme:

Lucky there then, i did the same with my old evo saved 4k on a pre registered car, still lost a small fortune mind.

Sounds a good idea, what sort of budget do you have? Please no more hairdresser cars ;)

Im considering a civic type r or maybe a cupra r for around 6-7k, when i get to needing a car for the winter.
