hi guys i bought this car two and a half years ago from a guy that was going to break it for parts but i couldnt let him do it so i handed over 400 quid with the full intention of a full restoration wich i have been undertaking for the last two and a half years (weekends only).. if every one keeps breaking them there aint gona be any left and this one was was a mint shell really just the usual repairs needed like...

replaced both sills
rebuilt tailgaite
rebuilt jacking points
rear bumper mounting panels
front bumper mounts
couple of bits on the floor pan

this didnt look like alot of work but it took a long time to get it right and i didnt have my lock up at this point so it was all done on the drive pulling it in and out of a allready full single garrage.. once the welding work was done it was sent to a body shop i have used for years in darlington on the agreement that he would just do it when he had time and there it stayed for 6 months but this gave me chance to save some money and order some shiny bits!!!!

heres some picks and i will add more when i have time i hope these work as i have had big problems uploading !!! and i still cant get a profile pickture no matter what size it is ?????:crap:

after a long wait i got a call to say the 5 had been painted :) so i went down with the low loader and picked it up... the spray job was spot on but i knew it would be as this guy has painted all my cars and i have never had a bad job done !!!!!

whilst the 5 was getting painted i managed to accumulate a 6 car lock up close to home which i share with my mates fully kitted out with compressor , hoist , heaters , water , etc!!!!! bonus :p ..
