I have just found out my wastegate penny isn't sealing, it only makes contact about 20%.
Can you take the penny out?
Then use valve grinding paste on it to flatten it out so it seals properly?
That would b great if I can, just need to figure out how to strip it, any1 done it before?
If not I've got a spare 0.48 to fit while I get my 0.63 repaired.
Then can any turbo place fix it? Any1 know a rough price?

You can only get it out by grinding off the wastegate arm, but you need to mark it in the position it came off in if you're going to re-use it and the assembley just slides out of the sleeve. I've never seen a warped penny, you could have another problem.

You'll have to weld the arm back on afterwards, obvisouly.
