since buying my volvo 460 turbo, the brakes have had this very strange feeling.
ive had new calipers and brake lines fitted up front, aswell as discs and pads all round. the brakes have been bled more than once and the feeling is still there!
i can only describe the problem as follows -
when i apply the brake when approaching a junction i press the brake pedal and theres no brakes really until i press it down an inch or so. i also have to apply abit more pressure than as you would have thought.
also when i stop at a junction, when i go to pull of swiftly the engine will kind of bog down, ive had it cut out a few times. this doent happen if i pull off very slowly though :scratch: could this be some sort of valve related problem? ie like the gtt oneway inlet valve?
is anyone clued up on the volvo brake system?
