Hi,

Can you tell me if the fan can run both ways? i.e. anti clockwise and clockwise depending on how it is wired?

If so, as you look at the fan on the rad from engine side, which way should it turn?

Thanks

the fan should 'suck' towards the engine which is clockwise...(...if i remember rightly :p)

it can run in the opposite direction if you reverse the power supply connections

hold a bit of bog roll on the rad, if its going the right way it'll stick to the rad, wrong way and it'll fall off..

i rewired mine ages ago and for weeks had high temps in traffic, thought it was an airlock, but after bog rolling that bad boy i noticed im a chump and made a boo boo..

James you shouldnt really need a bog roll, all the trouble iv been having is down to my fan being wired wrong, iv bleed the system god knows ow many times and had out an flushed the rad .

Stand in front of the car an if you feel the hot air its blowing the wrong way hot air should be pulled into the engine. Your fan should be spinning anticlockwise as you look at it from the wings.
