Well i sold my exige this evening and i really cant believe the buyer..
this is the story as it really was happened ;
Last night at 20;00 hrs i had a txt msg asking if the car was still for sale, i replied yes would u like to come view, buyer replied yes would it be possible to come over around 8pm 2 moro, i replied yes not a problem
today i txt'd the buyer asking are you still coming to view the car as its been raining all day, buyer replies yes be around 20;45.
Had a txt about 20;00 hrs saying theres a crash on the motorway il be a bit late....
anyway he turned up at 22:00 pitch black out and still raining..
i went out to say hello to him, said hello.. then he said car looks well lets go for a spin..
went up the main road 1/2 mile max turned back got home he got out and said yes il have it.. have u any more spares? that was it! no more questions or nothing!!:eek: gave me the full asking price and and bought another 2k in spares....

2k cash deposit in cash and did a bank transfere on my lappy, cars being collected once cleared =)

Never sold on Autotrader.. always ebay and pistonheads for me. Always had good results too (bar the odd numpty asking if I'll swap for their 1.2 bodykitted corsa)!

Worst car to sell ever was my CRX, took me over three years! Crazy... first person to actually turn up to look at it bought it though lol. Then I noticed on ebay he sold it about a month later for less than he paid me for it! Weird.

Best sale I ever had was on my White 21 quadra.

It sold for £2100 on eBay,
bloke came down from Sheffield, about 9pm
pitch black
looked at it for 30secs
open up sat in it
then got out and said shall we count the money,
counted out the £2100 then offered me £50 towards the tax. Lol
then just drove off in it. No test drive, didn't even start it up before he drove away lol
