running 14 psi on standard carb cup mod with bleed valve dash board gauge reeds half way on full boost at manifold it reads 14 psi on full boost. should the dash board gauge reed more than half.

Dash board gauge reads carb top pressure which is always greater then @ manifold.
You mean the needle at the letter 'R' or 'B'?

Standard boost gauge is now 20 years old so it's never gunna be 100% accurate
