Its not an intercooler I would want to run lots of boost with, size wise it does not look much bigger than standard

These are pretty good intercoolers TBH... My dad runs one on his cossie powered Dutton and it never gets high charge temps even at high boost (35 psi)..

I will say though that the car is only used for the 1/4 mile, so not really that long.

ive just bought one, ive been told there very good and can be fitted with no modification to the bumper or car.

you just have to take off the 2 small brackets and the small outlet on top of the intercooler to allow it to fit.

anyone got any pics of the pipe run needed?

the pics above show pipe run. the other shows the front cross member trimed to allow intercooler to fit nice.

35 psi  so there hard wearing :) and seems i might just have go a bargin.

Its so hard to find and intercooler that fits into how i want it :(

So the route is "cosworth intercooler"

In the future i plan to get one made and maybe do a group buy if people are intrested in the style and design which will be simalar to the cosworth one

Behr cores (as found in the Cosworth intercoolers) are about as good as it gets.

I've been looking at the Iveco truck TDI intercoolers, some of them also have behr cores, and look quite cheap for a large intercooler:)

I also found this: http://www.autospecialists.co.uk/NEW-Black-Pro-Series-Airtec-60mm-RS500-Style-intercooler-3dr--Saff-Product-708.html

Looks fairly promising too.:agree:

Mines a 2WD, but i think besides the shape change, the build and benefits are the same. I can't comment on improvements as i don't have an ACT gauge, but benefits for me are an increased boost possibility over the standard, and the fact the air filter can now be put in the std cooler location and i think in the lower part of the bumper the IC gets better air flow.
