Hey peeps.

Right like most of you I have a t-piece in my breather system. On the t-piece one pipe goes to the inlet manifold, one goes to the telephone hose and one to the de gassing pot.

Noticed last night that the pipe going to the telephone hose had split at the t-piece end so took it off and noticed that there is a restrictor of some sort inside so I took that out and put it in a new shiny red silicone hose that Jeebus gave me as a spare.

Now this restrictor thing sits a bit looser inside my new pipe and I have been thinking what's to stop the restrictor being sucked down the pipe, into the telephone hose and into the turbo causing huge damage??

Should the restrictor be in this pipe/hose???

Any help would be great as I'm a bit worried

The restrictor in that pipe isn't so important. In fact, you can do away with it altogether.

Never a bad idea to run that pipe into a catch tank instead of the 'telephone' hose, as all that's happening at the moment is that you're recirc'ing the hot, oily, breather air back into the (cold) air-intake/boost circuit.
