if you shorten the thread on a standard acuator does it give more or less boost:confused:

Wind the arm so it's shorter and therefore harder to pull back over the wastegate = more boost

Standard actuator doesnt like being wound in too much.

Wind it in a little at a time and test drive in between :)

What sort of boost are you looking to set the actuator to?

just wondered really,car is standard
but might increase but only to get it back to 120bhp

Standard boost ~9psi, made 120bhp on the GTT from the factory.

Have you got a boost guage fitted other than the dash guage?

i just have dash one
but i have one attached to a length of pipe that i can use just while setting up
