Can anyone tell me how to clear the cookies from Vista, not in the web browser but from the whole thing?

I keep getting something popping up saying I have this and that virus. I've ran the spyware checker and everything pop still it pops up. A guy at work said I'd need to reset the cookies but I have no idea how.

Any help would be super :agree:

Cheers :)

what spyware you using? run superantispyware, normally run it in safemode and it will clear all of those down.

Other thing to try you can go to run then type in cookies and they will all be there, well that works for XP, might be same in vista

http://www.superantispyware.com/

http://www.malwarebytes.org/

Run those two programmes, will kill off 99.9% of anything which shouldn't be on that computer.

Kaspersky internet security, spybot and firefox (ie alternative) are the only 3 things i use, built my current pc over a year ago, never had any issues tbh. Housecall online scan is really good if you aint too sure about you current anti virus programme. gl mate
