My nipple won't stop leaking!! :0(

Right peeps I have red sfs top rad hose and the alloy nipple that is next to the thermostat won't stop leaking coolant. The coolant doesn't come out the bleed hole but weeps out from between under the nipple and the hose. I can turn the whole nipple round with a spanner.

Few questions

1, can I get this alloy nipple tight on my hose??

2, how are these nipples connected to the hose is there a nut at the other side of the nipple inside the hose itself???

SFS nipples are known to come loose, you should be able to retight, also SFS will send new nipples out in the post... I got some free a few years back :)
