Can you still get a new throttle spring that go's on the carb mine is shot and didn't hails the carb closed it iddkes at 1500 rpm untill you put your foot under the pedal

Go to your local motor factors, and they should have a nice big box of various sized throttle return springs. The last one I bought for my gtt cost about 27 pence.
