I've been doing a search and have found some stuff but i've no experience of this kind of insurance. Do any of you guys have it? What company's do you use and how much do you pay?
Thanks J

Hi, I have had classic car insurance through Footman and James for a few years now. Very cheap, but your no claims bonus gets put on hold and can only be held for so many years. With mine you have to be over 25 and have limit mileage. Hope this helps.

HIC & Adrian Flux are part of the same company but they like to compete with each other so definately worth telling them a price a few quid lower that the other has quoted to shave a bit more off!! ;)

I'm limited to 3000 miles which is more than enough for my Raider.

I only pay about 250 also but again i'm 33 also :(

Thanks for the answers so far, i'm pretty old;), all my no claims are on the Trophy, the car will be garaged and i'll probably not be exceeding 1000 per year (that's the plan anyway) It's just i've had some spectacularly differing quotes £130-£400+ so a little guidance is appreciated.

As reno intended matey, best way, you knows it ;) And yeah, required six pics. My experience of them is first class frankly. Never used them before and very impressed. :agree:

Like your good self Steve I use HIC, except i'm 34 :ashamed: and the 21 only cost me a measly £185 fully comp with agreed value of £3k...happy days!!!

what a clown lol

im with lancaster think im restricted to 3k although i have only done about 50miles in a year lol, they also do a layed up policy which is a uber idea, so you can do 6 months in summer driving but in winter if you dont want to drive it cuts it so your only insured in your garage

Which is great if you've got room for anything bigger than a box in your garage :(
