Nice wide margin of 40 bhp, I wonder how the 'hole' engine rebuild and 'gasgets' are working out for him.
I just sent him an Email, the reply should make for quite entertaining reading :D

17k... doesn't suprise me... a fool and his money are easily parted!
could have been £170 if only he'd joined as a member on here
That shed has been advertised on pistonheads many many times before. I would bet my house on it not running anything near 280bhp
I wonder how he knows its so reliable if it had an engine rebuild only about a week ago? I do wonder.
Swap for a convertible. wonder if the 19 cab can be swapped, must be running at least 200-250bhp :D

so is this fella a member the rtoc sticker in the window does not say much for the club.
and in anycase if i`d have spent 17k on a 5 and it was pushin 280 BHP TO 320 BHP theres no way in this world i would swap it for a redtop corsa......:laugh:
I think it's cool.. nothing wrong with a bit of ali G styleee.. wicked eh wicked... jungle is massive..
Although the hole in the rebulid worries me too :) perhaps thats where the £17k went..
But, hey he's got an RTOC sticker so we may get another member from the sale :agree:

ha ha typical, me and my mates always joke about piston heads and engine rebuilds as just about every motor I have looked at on there has had one just before the sale....

Embarrassingly, all I wanted 12 years ago was a Fiesta with a wide kit like this, lol (I still secretly think it's kinda maybe a tiny little bit awesome) :D

I'm sure everyone wanted a kitted up car in the past! Trends come and go. Japanese motors still just about manage to pull them off, but I feel a bit sick inside when I see euro hatches kitted up
I'm glad I had my "maxed out" CRX back in the day... wouldn't drive it now though :cooter:
