What parts would I need for this set up on a t25? My engine is totaly standard with a group n clutch, I'm goin to buy a cgb downpipe/double capacity intercooler, ktr oil feed pipe and a air filter, is there anything else il need, will the standard rad be ok? Should I get a seperate oil cooler? Bigger jets?
Cheers
Dont panic the standard rad/oil cooler is up to the job. Oil change & rejet of the carb will suffice! Get an aftermarket boost gauge if you havent already.

You can run a T25 on a standard engine. If your planning on upping the boost above standard then I would recomend that you purchase a decent wideband kit before any increase in boost pressure i.e. the Scoff Zeitronix deal, LM-1, AEM uego etc..
Then you can work out where and which Jets in your carb needing enlarging reducing etc.. and from the advise you can get on here you can do this yourself.
Cheers lads
I bought this off a mate the other week :)

I'm goin to buy a cgb downpipe
Not needed at that level of boost/power.
double capacity intercooler
Not really required as the standard one will be ok. The only double capacity intercooler 'upgrade' I'd recommend would be the GT Tuning 'breadbin'. The other double cap' units have been tested as having p1ss poor efficiency.
ktr oil feed pipe
Not needed, o.e is fine.
air filter
Again, o.e is fine.
will the standard rad be ok?
Definitely. Tried & tested on track. Avoid copper core rad's like the plague.
Should I get a seperate oil cooler?
No, unless your oil temp's are going sky high on track.
Bigger jets?
Yes, but only the 2nd stage enrichment/circuit to allow for extra fuelling for the higher boost level.

:agree:Listen to this man:D
Cheers for the advice mart:agree:
So would a bigger down pipe not make any difference?
Not really a noticeable one. I guess it depends how flush you are. To keep to a low power to money ratio, stick to what Mart says. Stuff like Alloy rad's, KTR this, KTR that, are generally considered a waste of money by most.
A well serviced engine with a decent turbo, lashings of boost, and fueling to match is a good, cheap, quick, reliable solution. :agree::D

Totaly agree mate, I just thought I needed a different oil feed that's all, I want the engine looking totaly oe, can you get the original boost pipes from Renault?
Cheers for the advice mart:agree:

As I mentioned before, not at that level of power/boost. For reference, you can achieve a mid 13 sec' pass at Pod with a standard elbow & downpipe in situ...

That's class :agree:
I'm buyin the t25 off mkandy so hopefuly have it on soon :)
You might need the new oil feed mate, from experience the o.e feed may have different thread size/pitch compared to the new core.
True, the standard T2 uses an 11mm thread where as all but the Nissan T25 bearing housings use a 12mm tread. You'll probably need an adapter and braided line to fit the turbo, unless it's supplied with it.
Just the turbo mate.. Were could I get hold of these parts?
Think automotive will do the pipe, or hose solutions, not sure about the union though.
